How We Work

We understand that every trust is different. As a result, we do things differently in an industry that's steeped in tradition.

We're an advisor-friendly trust company.

Our methods may not be a perfect match for your expectations. That's okay. The most important thing is to figure out if we're a good fit for each other. Does our company DNA match your client needs?

Here's what you can expect from working with us:

1. Hearing about Wealth Advisors Trust Company

There are a lot of ways you could hear about Wealth Advisors Trust Company: Referrals, Google, word of mouth, and more.

Regardless, this is where your first few interactions with us occur. This phase probably doesn't include us having a person-to-person conversation, and that's okay.

Once you've heard of us, we've designed our website to help move you into the next phase of how we work.

2. Learning More about Us

Once you've heard of us, you can read, watch, and otherwise consume a variety of information that we publish online. We believe great information and knowledge should be free.

This comes in the form of our blog, downloadable guides, and informative pages about our services.

At this point in our process, you may give us your contact information via an online form. That means you'll begin receiving emails from us every few days.

These emails contain information that we think would be helpful for you based on where we are in our relationship. They come signed by a member of the Wealth Advisors Trust Company team, typically our CMO Christopher Holtby.

At some point, the emails will encourage you to reach out to us so we can have a direct conversation. That's why each email comes with contact information and, at times, a button you can click to fill out a contact form on our website.

Once you've done that, you're in the next phase of our process.

3. Reaching out to Start a Conversation

The first time or two that we have a discussion, we'll do everything we can to learn about you, your trust, and what you'd like to accomplish.

While we know the questions to ask, we also know that your answers will be unique. That's why we believe in having a full, thorough conversation to further determine if we'd be a good fit together.

There's a chance that this could be the end of your time with us, and that's okay. As we said before, we're one of many solutions when it comes to hiring a corporate trustee.

However, for many, we can continue staying in touch.

4. Continuing the Conversation

We may have several discussions over the course of a few weeks or months. This all depends on how we discover we can work together.

By continuing our dialogue, we'll learn the important details of what you're looking to accomplish and how you operate to better evaluate whether we're a good fit for one another.

Collaboratively, we can also determine when you want to take the final step to begin using our advisor friendly trustee services. It starts with submitting your client's trust document.

5. Submitting Your Trust Document

Once we have your trust document, we can do the rest.

Your trust document gives us the ability to begin working with you as an advisor-friendly corporate trustee. You can send it to us in a number of ways, including through a secure form that we host on our website.

Once your trust document is with us, we're officially in business together.

With that, you've reached the end of our process.
